Introduction to Software and Web Development
Learn the foundational concepts of modern web design and development. Using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, students will design and build their own portfolio page. We will learn to use development tools like git and VS Code, and we will introduce the Node server environment and React library.
This is an 8-week introductory course for learners new to the field. Classes are held once a week in the evenings. Between classroom time and homework, there is an estimated time commitment of 6 hours per week.
Web Development Bootcamp
A three-month intensive course designed for those intending to begin a career as a software or web developer. Building on the concepts of the introductory course, students will learn advanced React and Redux, server-side development in Node, and database design and management. A culminating project will showcase students’ abilities to work in a professional development environment.
This course requires a significant time commitment. Students are expected to attend full-time. The program includes in-person classroom instruction, collaborative lab work, and independent study.

We offer several independent workshops to the community, with no commitment needed to our other larger programs.
